About Me
Rachel Harper, Ed.S
You Deserve to Feel Great. I’m Here to Help.
Hello! I’m so happy that you’re here. I’m your behavioral health and wellness specialist. I specialize in coaching women and men how to reduce their stress, anxiety, blood pressure, and cholesterol. In addition, I help them create a self-healing lifestyle that includes various mind and body activities, strategies, and tools.
My Background
In 2008, I started out graduating from Norfolk State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in kinesiology. I achieved career opportunities to include cardiac rehabilitation and physical therapy & rehabilitation.
I then understood the importance of the holistic approach to healing the individual. I went on to graduate with my Masters in counseling. I used my time to achieve career opportunities helping men and women overcome substance addiction.
Prior to starting my coaching career, I went on to work as a special education teacher for six years. I used my counseling background and newfound teaching expertise to help students overcome learning, medical, and mental barriers to succeed in their education.
The stress, anxiety, emotional and physical fatigue, high blood pressure, headaches, unintentional weight loss, and loss of time with my family needed to change.
On October 23rd, 2020 I quit my teaching career on a whim. It was important that I got back to thriving instead of just surviving and struggling to make it day by day physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
I now help adults remove the barriers of stress, anxiety, and physical distress to live life happier, healthier, and healed.
My Approach & Philosophy
I believe that women and men have the ability to create a self-healing lifetyle that’ll help them live happier, healthier, and healed.
My coaching approach primarily includes Positive Psychology and cognitive behavior.
